Amadeus Air provides real-time airline information to facilitate the booking and management of reservations on 95% of the world's airlines. Over 730 airlines store flight schedules in Amadeus - close to 500 sell seats directly through our system.

Availability
An Amadeus Air availability display shows all flights between a specified city pair. Uniquely, only the Amadeus central system is able to display any two availabilities simultaneously - reducing keystrokes and enabling agents to complete air bookings faster.

Amadeus availability displays up to 12 flights and 26 classes per screen. Also shown is complimentary information such as elapsed journey time, airport terminal information, aircraft type and last seat availability.

Various levels of access to airline inventories are available, with almost 300 carriers participating at the level where sales to the agent are confirmed in real time - before the passenger name record (PNR) has been completed.

Uniquely, over 135 airlines use Amadeus as their own sales and reservations system, enabling 'single PNR' information sharing for improved service to your customers.

User preferences
Numerous options and shortcuts exist to tailor the display in accordance with business needs. Options include specifying a selection of preferred carriers or Alliance carriers.
